An imaginary landscape, under an imagined sky. Inspiration drawn, in part, from the new Michael Harding oil paints (Quinacridone Coral and Aqua Green). Also from having seen Georgia O’Keeffe’s painting of Mt. Fuji. The sky in that painting is an intriguing, soft, very “retro” shade of blush pink. I loathe pink as pertaining to girls’ princess outfits and those ridiculous hats worn at a certain protest march back in 2017 ... but I digress. Other shades of rose, pinks, pale reds, etc. are lovely.
