Compelled to paint another "pagogie" (Mik'kmaq word for 'water lily', adopted by Acadians in south-western Nova Scotia and still in use). Need to see what happens with a smaller canvas, varied tones and colors. Inspired by a photo of a water lily by Ray Pottier, a distant cousin, in a lake near my childhood home.)
