The opening gambit for "Maudie 10", Maudie being our black cat. She has many sides to her personality, each of them portrait-worthy. I'll soften the background color and of course, tighten the canvas. This is my first time using Michael Harding's Emerald oil paint. The next Maudie will have his Magenta as background color. Vibrant color is my middle name, among others.
