On my first trip to see Spiral Jetty, the sun came out after an afternoon rain storm, lighting up this hillside near Corrine, Utah. The sky above it was a deep indigo, almost black with drama.
It's been 'in progress' for many years, in part because this first try at capturing what I saw pleased me enough to leave it as is.
Time to see it through and give it the finish it deserves.
