Cherry Lane runs east and upward toward the Wasatch Mountains near Layton, Utah. It was rainy. Everything was gray, with sprays of pink and white blossom dots alongside the road, bright spring leaf buds here and there. At the end of the lane, a scarlet dot will be the traffic light.

I really wanted to reduce this to Milton Avery-esque wedges of color, to to flat as an Alex Katz. Maybe I'll try for that effect. Right now, the Pottier seems to want to be a bit more representational. It, like like, is a work in progress.
